I’ve been a little bit busy lately! Anyway onto the run I did today, I was aiming for 3 miles with 8 minute miles. I managed to keep an 8 minute pace for the 1st mile only! My splits were 8:03, 8:25 and 10:10 (WTF). I’ve got my 10k on Sunday and I’ve always said to myself if you can run half the distance comfortably then you’ll be fine for the whole distance at a slower pace! My PB for 10k is 47:48 and I’m gonna go for it again to try and reach that target. I won’t be heartbroken if I don’t get the time but I really want to get close to it, I know I can be at that level again and that I’ve been better than it too. Only problem is that time isn’t on my side right now!
