Track Of The Day #7
Artist: Blu and Exile | Track: In Remembrance of Me | Album: Below The Heavens
Blu & Exile are my favourite duo in music. I have written about their record Below the Heavens before on the youngers blog. Blu really takes you on a journey in this song and it grips me in my seat for 4 enjoyable minutes. Blu’s last verse is simply sublime and rounds off a near perfect song. Enjoy below.

Season 8 kicked into gear with a bang last night as we headed east towards the Olympic stadium. With longer evenings it’s now light enough to hit the canals and last night saw the crew doing da ting in the hidden depths of East London. Track Of The Day #7
Do you ever look at the last played you played a song you really like on iTunes and think ‘how has it been that long?’ I do. I can’t believe I haven’t even played this track in 2012. London Marathon Countdown #6
The race is tomorrow. TOMORROW. Fast forward 24 hours from now and I hope to be drunk off beer and life. Let us hope that we can make that a reality, okay?! Whilst training I’ve taken part in two races. The Paris and Berlin half marathons, they were both great experiences that have helped me as a runner but there was a race before both of these that really shaped me into the runner that I am today. Training is coming thick and fast but my body has adjusted. It’s the mental aspect of everything that I don’t think many of us are prepared for when we train for these sort of events. We look at plans and don’t factor in the strain it can bring upon someone to not see their close friends and family regularly. That’s the hard part of marathon training. The loneliness.
