My 3 Month GOAL

I went out for dinner with one of my best friends on Sunday evening and we got talking about fitness, body improvements and all that jazz. Anyway, she wants to make some improvements in her body and I offered whatever advice and help I can give. I reminded her that Skinny is not a word and nothing that anyone should ever aspire to be. Fit and sexy is the way forward.

One thing I remember though is to never ask someone to do something that you wouldn’t do yourself, so this leaves me with the 3 month GOAL that needs to be hit. We’ve both weighed ourselves, made goal weights to hit and wrote down every part of our bodies that we want to see improvements in 3 months (will post that list later).

To give her some extra motivation on weight loss I advised her to ‘cut out’ something that she thinks she does too much of. I found that when I cut out chocolate all those years ago it really motivated me to hit my targets. She has now vowed to stop eating out for the next 3 months (with the exception of her birthday) whilst I have cut out my beloved Ketchup! Anyone that knows me will tell you that I have too much of it and having been off it for 1 day I already miss it! I’ve also decided to lower my sugar intake slightly too.

So we’ve both set our goals and now it’s just time to reach them. Updates will follow on how I get on with it.

P.S There’s less than two weeks until VLM! I can’t wait for it. I’m tapering now and I’m slowly typing up my pre-race battle cry, thoroughly enjoying reliving my runs and memories I’ve gained on the way… thank you to everyone that has shown me support since I’ve started training for the marathon, your support means the world to me and I run for YOU!
