‘We Run Them’ Ed Skrein ft Graziella & Dubbledge

Running clubs have tracksuits but Run Dem Crew have anthems and bangers, bespoke finish line songs to power you to that next personal best. ED Skrein and his team drop the first in a series of  new Run Dem Crew music coming your way. Featuring Ed, Graziella and Dubbledge with cameos from myself and the crew, this bass heavy anthem perfectly captures the energy of the crew and its associates. Inspired by East London based running collective Run Dem Crew; ‘We Run Them’ was created by Run Dem Crew member, actor and rapper Ed Skrein as ‘music to train to’. This song and video provide a unique insight into London’s urban sports collectives. These are London’s street athletes, passionate about training and focused on taking advantage of the sporting chances on their doorsteps. The video was shot at Run Dem Crew’s Shoreditch HQ, Nike 1948 and features members of the crew. Sportswear & location was provided by Nike 1948.

Ed Skrein, runner, rapper, and actor, made his name as an MC working with Foreign Beggars, Plan B and Asian Dub Foundation. He has recently found creativity in Film, acting in Kieron Hawkes thriller ‘Piggy’, Nick Love’s re-make of ‘The Sweeney’ alongside Ray Winstone, and most prolifically starring in Ben Drews ‘iLL Manors’. Sport and Music are lifelong passions of Ed’s. He loves a sporting challenge; in 2010 he swam the Channel, in 2011 he cycled from lands End to John O Groats. To Ed, music & sport go hand in hand. Each essential to one another and natural partners. Ed co-directed and co-produced this video and brought in Graziella (Scarlett Lowe, Miss Frank, Driving Lolita) and Dubbledge (Lowlife & Dentedrecords) to help convey the message.
